What it does

What you get with Shop Analytics

Traffic and markets

Monthly visits, growth, traffic history and the countries the visitors come from.

Sales and catalog

Estimated monthly sales with their history, product count, best sellers and the newest products.

Advertising

Active ads, the Facebook pages linked to the shop, its ad format mix and its TikTok activity.

How to use it

Three steps

01

Ask by domain

Use the domain directly in the path. No lookup step is needed.

02

Read the record

One call answers with the profile, traffic, sales, advertising and technology.

03

Pull the detail

Products, sales history, follower history, apps and pixels each have their own route.

MCP

The same feature for your AI agent

These tools use the same key and the same credits as the REST API.

Set up the MCP server

Shopify store analytics tell you how one store is doing, from the outside. In SellWinners the domain is all you need, and the record keeps the history of its traffic and sales, so you see whether visits and estimated sales are climbing or slipping over the months.

Use it to size up a competitor before you enter its niche, or to compare your own store with the ones around it. Every sales figure is an estimate, made for comparing stores, so read it next to traffic and ads rather than on its own.

Read a Shopify store's analytics in Explore

  1. Open Shops in Explore, set Match to Domain and type the store's domain.
  2. Open the store. The header shows its country, currency, Shopify theme and main category, and a Shopify Plus tag when it applies.
  3. Read the four tiles: Monthly visits with the change over 30 days, Est. monthly sales with a low and a high figure under it, Active Meta ads with the number launched in 30 days, and Products with the store's categories.
  4. A second row adds the Google ads the data marks active (with a link to the live ones), TikTok followers, the Trustpilot rating with its review count, and total followers.
  5. Move through the tabs for the detail, then save the store or track it from the header.

Look up a store in Explore

On Free, a store opens on its overview: traffic, estimated sales, socials, apps, products and its ads counted by country. Ad spend and reach, the full list of similar stores and the brand's other stores are on paid plans: see what each plan includes.

What each tab shows

Overview
The traffic chart, the top countries by share of visits, estimated sales over the last 90 days, followers by network, best sellers, latest ads and the closest similar shops.
Products
Best sellers and newest products, sorted by popularity, price or newest. It is a sample of the catalog, and the tab says so.
Socials
Each social account with its followers and the last 90 days.
Similar
The shops most like this one, each with a similarity score.
Ads
The Meta ads of the store's linked Facebook pages, by status and format, next to its ad countries and media mix.
Emails
The emails the store sends, with its sending stats by month.
Apps, Pixels and Stores
Its Shopify apps, its tracking pixels and the other stores of the same brand.
TikTok
Profile numbers, top hashtags and the posts of its TikTok profile.

How to read the numbers

Each figure answers a different question, and none of them is enough alone.

  • Monthly visits and growth. Growth is the change in visits over 30 days, in percent. A store with rising visits is gaining attention now.
  • Estimated monthly sales. In US dollars for every store, with a low and a high figure. Compare it across stores in the same niche.
  • Units sold. A store level estimate. Read it with the best seller prices to see whether a store sells many cheap items or a few expensive ones.
  • Active Meta ads. The ads running now across the store's linked pages. Many ads launched in 30 days often means the store is testing new creatives.
  • Top countries. Where the visitors come from, which is often a better guide to a store's market than its own country.

Sales and units are estimates for the whole store. They are useful for comparing stores and spotting trends, not as audited numbers. The FAQ explains how the estimates work, and our guide covers how store sales are estimated in more depth.

The same record through the API

One request returns the whole record. The domain works in place of a shop id:

# One shop by id or domain
curl "https://api.sellwinners.com/v1/shops/gymshark.com" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"

GET /v1/shops/{shopId} Parameters and fields in the docs

The answer groups its fields as profile, trustpilot, socials, catalog, traffic, sales, advertising, technology, tiktok, latestAds and similarShops. Each detail has a route of its own. The sales history takes a period and a window:

# Estimated sales history
curl "https://api.sellwinners.com/v1/shops/gymshark.com/sales/history?period=month&days=365" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"

GET /v1/shops/{shopId}/sales/history Parameters and fields in the docs

Next to it sit the products (/products), the follower history (/socials/history), the apps, the pixels, the brand's other stores, the ad format mix and the TikTok overview. The shop record reference lists every field.

From an AI agent, brief_competitor gives a compact brief on one store: its profile, products, biggest ads, emails and similar shops, or only the sections you ask for. Try "Give me a brief on gymshark.com with its profile and products only."

No card is needed. The Free plan includes the web app and the MCP server (150 credits a month), without the API. The API and the other datasets need a paid plan. Paid plans start at €39 a month.

FAQ

Common questions

What does the Free plan show for a store?

The overview of any store we track: traffic, estimated sales, socials, apps, products and its ads counted by country. Ad spend and reach, the media mix, the share of its ads targeting each country, the full list of similar stores, the brand's other stores and the landing pages of its ads are on paid plans. See the plans and their prices.

Can I look up a store by its domain?

Yes. Every shop route takes the domain in place of the shop id, for example GET /v1/shops/gymshark.com, and a leading www. is ignored. In Explore, set Match to Domain and type it in the search box.

How do I get a store's sales history?

Call GET /v1/shops/{shopId}/sales/history with period (day, week or month) and days (7 to 365, 90 by default). Each point carries the estimated monthly sales with a low and a high figure, and units sold. In Explore, the Overview tab charts the last 90 days.

Why does a store show a dash instead of a number?

That figure is not known for the store. In the API the same field is null rather than zero, so you can tell a missing figure from a real zero.

Can I follow a store over time?

Yes, on paid plans. Add it to the Brand Tracker by its domain. Reports on its ads, hooks, headlines and landing pages are read live each time, and a daily record of its ad texts and headlines starts the day you track it. You can track up to 200 brands.
