In SellWinners you add a brand once, by its domain, its shop or its Facebook page, and its reports are ready whenever you open them: what it launched, which ads are gaining rank, the hooks, headlines and ad texts it keeps using, and where its ads send people.
Ad research often starts with a search. Tracking is what comes after it, for the five or fifty brands you want to check every week without searching for them again.
What the brand tracker reports
A tracked brand opens on its report tabs:
| Report | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Overview | A graph of its ads over time, its media mix, its top landing pages, its top ads and its newest ads |
| Ads | Every ad of the brand, with views of them in launch order and of its partnership ads |
| Top ads and Scaling ads | Its ads ranked by current rank, rank gained, reach, days running or duplicates, and the ads that gained the most rank over 7, 14 or 30 days, with their rank history |
| Creatives and Testing | Its images and videos, and its creative tests: ads grouped by the day they were launched |
| Hooks, Transcripts, Headlines and Ad copies | The lines its videos open with, its video scripts, and the headlines and texts of its ads, each with how many ads use it |
| Landing pages | Where its ads send people, and how many ads point to each page |
| Evolution | How its ad texts, headlines and landing pages changed, day by day |
| Partners and Audience | The pages that run ads for it, and who its ads reached in the EU and the UK, by country, age range and gender |
| Time series | Ads launched, live ads and reach, by day, week or month |
Read live, with a daily record on top
Reports are read live each time you open them, so they show the brand as it is today. Ad texts and headlines have no history of their own, so SellWinners records them once a day for every tracked brand, from the day you add it. The ad text and headline series of the Evolution report are built from those days, which is why it pays to add a brand before you need its history.
The Testing report groups ads by their launch day. A batch counts as a winner when one of its ads is still running a week or more after launch, a simple way to see which tests a brand kept.
Track a brand in Explore, step by step
- Open Explore and go to Brand tracker. Type a domain, a shop or a Facebook page in the box at the top and press Track. Any shop or advertiser page also has a Track button.
- The Brands tab lists what you track, with each brand's active ads, its new ads over 1, 7 and 30 days and its traffic. Sort by any of them, filter by name, and group brands in folders.
- Open a brand for its reports. Start with Overview, then Scaling ads to see what it is pushing now.
- Check the Radar tab each morning. It splits your brands into those that launched ads yesterday, those active this week and those quiet this week, with a button to show the new ads.
- Use Across brands to compare: top ads, scaling ads, hooks, ad copies, landing pages and media mix over your tracked brands (up to 100 at a time, the newest first) or one folder, with an EU ads only switch.
An account follows up to 200 brands, in up to 200 folders. Adding a brand you already track returns the same tracker, so nothing is counted twice.
How to use a brand tracker for competitor research
Find what a competitor is scaling
Scaling ads ranks a brand's ads by the places they gained among its own ads over 7, 14 or 30 days. An ad climbing that ranking is one the brand chose to push. Open it for its hook and its landing page.
Watch a launch as it happens
The Radar shows the morning after which brands launched ads. Open the brand, sort its Ads tab by newest and read the new creatives together: the same offer in several formats is usually a test.
Learn how a brand talks
Hooks and Headlines show the lines a brand keeps using across many ads. The ones used most are the ones it trusts, and the Evolution report shows when it changed them.
Follow the funnel
Landing pages lists where the ads point and how many ads use each page. A new page that quickly gathers ads is usually a new offer or a new product.
Benchmark your niche
Track five to ten competitors in one folder, then open Across brands for that folder. Its top ads and media mix put the whole niche on one screen.
To find the brands worth tracking, rank the advertisers of a niche or start from a store in Shopify store search. Our post on researching competitors' Meta ads shows the method from end to end.
The brand tracker from the API and your AI agent
Track a brand with one call; its domain is enough:
# Track a brand
curl -X POST "https://api.sellwinners.com/v1/brandtrackers" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"domain": "gymshark.com"}'POST /v1/brandtrackers Parameters and fields in the docs
The answer holds the tracker's id. Every report is a route under it, such as the ads that gained the most rank over 7 days:
# A brand's ads that gained rank
curl "https://api.sellwinners.com/v1/brandtrackers/TRACKER_ID/ad-rank?timeWindow=last7d&limit=10" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"GET /v1/brandtrackers/{brandtrackerId}/ad-rank Parameters and fields in the docs
The routes under /v1/workspace, such as GET /v1/workspace/top-ads, run over up to 100 of your tracked brands at once.
Your AI agent can read the tracker for you. Ask "What did my tracked brands launch this week?" and daily_radar answers with who launched ads in the last day and week. analyze_brand_changes tells what changed for one brand over 1, 7, 14 or 30 days, and get_brandtracker_scaling_ads lists its scaling ads with their rank history. They use the same key and credits as the API.
Every report is in the brand tracker API reference.
Brand trackers on Free and on paid plans
Brand trackers are on paid plans. On Free, the demo brands are open in full on the website: their pages have a working Track button, and every report of a tracked demo brand opens, so you can see the tracker at work. Brands you tracked on a paid plan stay on your account for when you upgrade again. Compare the plans when you are ready to track your own.
Track your first brand
No card is needed. The Free plan includes the web app and the MCP server (150 credits a month), without the API. The API and the other datasets need a paid plan. Paid plans start at €39 a month.
Common questions
What does a brand tracker do?
It follows a competitor's ads so you do not have to search for them again. In SellWinners a tracked brand has reports on its top ads, the ads gaining rank, its creative tests, hooks, headlines, ad texts, landing pages, partners and audience, read live whenever you open them.
How do I add a brand to track?
Type its domain, its shop or its Facebook page in the Brand tracker and press Track, or press Track on any shop or advertiser page. In the API, send POST /v1/brandtrackers with one of domain, shopId, websiteId or facebookPageId.
How many brands can I track?
Up to 200 brands on an account, grouped in up to 200 folders. The reports across brands run over up to 100 of them at a time, or over one folder.
Does it keep a history of a brand's ads?
Reports are read live, so they show the brand as it is today. Ad texts and headlines are also recorded once a day from the day you add a brand, and the Evolution report shows how they changed since then. Add a brand early to have its history when you need it.
How do I see which ads a competitor is scaling?
Open the brand's Scaling ads report. It ranks its ads by the places they gained among the brand's own ads over 7, 14 or 30 days, with each ad's rank history. Across brands shows the same for a whole folder of brands.
Is the brand tracker on the Free plan?
Brand trackers are on paid plans, with up to 200 brands. On Free, the demo brands can be tracked and every report about them opens, so you can try the tracker. See the plans and their prices.
