BigSpy alternatives: SellWinners vs BigSpy, and other tools compared

Looking for a BigSpy alternative? BigSpy lists eleven ad networks, more than SellWinners. Its Free plan covers Facebook only, with 10 searches a day, and Google, YouTube and TikTok start at Growth. SellWinners opens all three on its entry paid plan, with Shopify store data and a REST API.

SellWinners is our product, so weigh what follows with that in mind. Every fact about BigSpy comes from bigspy.com, its pricing page and its FAQ, read on October 26, 2026. Facts about the other tools come from their own pages, read the same day and linked under the first table. We did not test paid accounts.

BigSpy is an ad library built for breadth: its pricing page lists eleven ad platforms, from Facebook to app networks such as Unity, Pangle and AppLovin. The catch is the plan ladder. Free is Facebook only, Starter adds Instagram and AppLovin, and Google Ads, YouTube and TikTok wait for Growth, the third of five plans. SellWinners covers fewer networks, but Meta, Google (YouTube included) and TikTok are all on its entry paid plan, next to Shopify store data, brand emails and a REST API.

BigSpy alternatives at a glance

BigSpy first, then five tools people weigh against it, in alphabetical order. We make SellWinners, so its row describes our own product; every other row comes from that tool's own pages. "Not stated" means we did not find the fact there, which does not prove the tool lacks it. We do not copy prices, because they change: each pricing page is linked below the table.

  • AdLibrary.com comes closest to BigSpy's list of networks, with X, Pinterest and app networks such as Unity Ads and AdMob on every plan, and puts its API and MCP server on the Business plan.
  • Minea pairs Facebook ads with shop and product research for dropshippers. Its pricing page and its ad spy page disagree on TikTok, Pinterest and the free plan, so check before you count on either. In detail: SellWinners vs Minea.
  • PiPiAds starts from TikTok and adds TikTok Shop data, with an API and an MCP server paid in credits. In detail: SellWinners vs PiPiAds.
  • PowerAdSpy adds native, Reddit, Quora and LinkedIn ads, and keeps TikTok for its top plan. In detail: SellWinners vs PowerAdSpy.

Which ad networks does each BigSpy plan include?

BigSpy sells five plans: Free, Starter, Growth, Scale and Ultimate. The plan sets the networks you can search, and its FAQ says so: "Access to individual platforms depends on your plan." The table shows the first plan that lists each network. Scale has the same networks as Growth, with 5 seats instead of 1.

Where BigSpy wins

BigSpy wins when your ads run beyond Meta, Google and TikTok. Its pricing page lists X, Pangle, AppLovin, Pinterest, Yahoo and Unity, and SellWinners has none of them. App and game marketers get the most from that list: BigSpy's industry filters cover games and tools next to e-commerce on every plan, and it lists playable ads and pre-registration landing pages from Starter.

It also wins on a few tools SellWinners does not match. TikTok Shop ads, from Growth, have no SellWinners equivalent. BigSpy lists video analysis, video copy recognition and a "Creative to AI Prompt" tool, each with a quota by plan; in SellWinners, a Meta ad's record carries its video transcript and hook, which covers part of that work. And a small team can share Scale, which its FAQ says "includes five seats with independent quotas".

Where SellWinners fits

SellWinners fits when you sell online and Meta, Google and TikTok are where you advertise, in particular in these cases:

  • You need TikTok or YouTube without a higher plan. On BigSpy they start at Growth. In SellWinners, Google ads with YouTube among them, and TikTok ads and posts, are on every paid plan, from €39 a month.
  • You sell on Shopify. A Meta ad's record names the shop it links to. Open that shop for its traffic, estimated sales and best sellers, then list the similar Shopify stores.
  • You want the data in your own code. Every dataset is a REST endpoint with public docs. We found no API on BigSpy's pages.
  • You work with an AI agent. The MCP server gives clients such as Claude, Cursor and VS Code the same searches as tools, on the key you use for the API.
  • You study emails as well as ads. The email marketing library shows the welcome, newsletter and abandoned cart emails brands send, down to the HTML.

What SellWinners does differently

YouTube and TikTok ads on the entry paid plan

In Explore, the Ads page has a Meta tab, a Google tab and a TikTok tab, and every paid plan includes all three. YouTube ads are Google ads on the YouTube network, and a video ad shows its thumbnail with a link to watch it on Google. The TikTok tab shows ads, organic posts or both and, when you browse without a search text, sorts them by views, likes or how long a post has run. The YouTube ad spy tool and TikTok ads library pages give the steps and the filters of each.

# Search Google ads
curl "https://api.sellwinners.com/v1/google-ads?networks=youtube&formats=video&status=active&sortBy=newest&limit=10" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"

GET /v1/google-ads Parameters and fields in the docs

TikTok results carry views, likes, comments, shares and engagement rate. They carry no reach and no spend.

Search ads in Explore

The store behind the ad

BigSpy lists a domain analysis and domain advertisers from Growth, and the pages we read do not say what the domain analysis shows. In SellWinners you open the store itself. A Shopify store's record gives its monthly visits and 30-day growth, its estimated monthly sales, its best sellers with prices, its apps, pixels and theme, its active Meta ads and its TikTok profile. The estimates are there to compare stores, not to quote as exact figures. Our guide on how to see what a Shopify store makes explains how to read them.

The link runs both ways: you can filter Meta ads by the store behind them, for example by its Shopify apps or its theme. On Free you search a store by domain and see its overview; the shop filters are on paid plans.

# One shop by id or domain
curl "https://api.sellwinners.com/v1/shops/allbirds.com" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"

GET /v1/shops/{shopId} Parameters and fields in the docs

The same data in your code and your agent

Every dataset is a REST endpoint, and filters go by name as query parameters or in a POST body. The Meta ads search reference lists each parameter and field. You pay in credits for the results returned: one credit per result, and an empty result or a failed call costs nothing.

Over the MCP server for AI agents, ask your agent to run search_google_ads_library for Google and YouTube ads, search_tiktok_library for TikTok or search_shops for stores. A tool call costs the results it returns, from the same credits as the API.

What SellWinners does not cover

SellWinners has no X, Pinterest, Yahoo, Unity, Pangle, AppLovin, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Reddit, native or Bing ads, and no TikTok Shop data. Its store data covers Shopify stores, with no product data from Etsy, Amazon, Shopee or AliExpress. Google video ads, YouTube ones included, have no video file: you watch them on Google. There is no browser extension and no export file. Meta reach is EU and UK reach and Meta spend is an estimate. Google ads have no spend, and a reach only for some of the ads shown in the EU.

How to choose a BigSpy alternative

Settle these five points for your own work before you compare tools:

  1. The networks you buy on. For X or app networks, BigSpy and AdLibrary.com list them; for Pinterest, those two and PowerAdSpy. Minea's ad spy page names Pinterest too, while its pricing page marks it coming soon.
  2. The plan that includes them. On BigSpy, TikTok and YouTube start at Growth; on PowerAdSpy, TikTok sits on Palladium. Compare the plan you would really need.
  3. The store behind the ad. If you sell on Shopify, the traffic and estimated sales of the store tell you whether an ad sits on a store that grows.
  4. How you use the data. In the browser only, or also in your own scripts and an AI agent. We found no API on BigSpy's or Minea's pages; AdLibrary.com, PiPiAds and SellWinners list one, and PowerAdSpy's homepage mentions an API for BI tools, with no public docs found.
  5. How you can try it. BigSpy and SellWinners have free plans, PiPiAds a trial tier and PowerAdSpy a paid trial. Minea's ad spy page has "Free plan available" in its description, but the page shows a free trial button and only paid plans, and its pricing page lists no free plan. Run the same search on a niche you know in two of them and compare what comes back.

For the wider field, our list of the best ad spy tools compares eight tools on the same facts, and SellWinners vs AdSpy looks at a tool built for Facebook and Instagram only. Everything SellWinners covers is on the ad spy tool page, and you can compare the plans when you are ready.

FAQ

Common questions

Is BigSpy free?

In part. BigSpy's Free plan needs no paid subscription and covers Facebook ad creatives: 10 searches a day (visual and feature searches included), 5 video analyses a month, 3 Creative to AI Prompt uses a day and 20 tracked creatives. Creative downloads, Instagram and the other networks need a paid plan. We read this on bigspy.com/pricing on October 26, 2026. SellWinners also has a Free plan with no card: each shop's Meta ad library and a shop search, in the web app. The Free plan includes the web app and the MCP server (150 credits a month), without the API.

Which BigSpy plan includes TikTok and Google ads?

Growth, the third of its five plans. BigSpy's pricing page lists Google Ads, YouTube, X, TikTok, Pangle and TikTok Shop ads from Growth, and Scale has the same networks with 5 seats. Free covers Facebook, Starter adds Instagram and AppLovin, and Ultimate adds Pinterest, Yahoo and Unity (checked on October 26, 2026 at bigspy.com/pricing). In SellWinners, Google ads, YouTube ads among them, and TikTok ads and organic posts are on every paid plan.

Does BigSpy have an API?

We found no API, MCP server or browser extension on the BigSpy homepage, its pricing page or its FAQ on October 26, 2026, and bigspy.com/api returned a 404 that day. That does not prove it has none. SellWinners has a REST API with public documentation and an MCP server with 73 tools for AI agents. Both use the same API key.

Does BigSpy show how much a Shopify store sells?

We did not find store traffic or sales estimates on BigSpy's pages on October 26, 2026. Its homepage says it draws product intelligence from 40 e-commerce sites, Shopify, Etsy and Amazon among them, and its pricing page lists a domain analysis from Growth without saying what it shows. SellWinners searches Shopify stores and shows each one's monthly visits, estimated monthly sales, best sellers, apps and theme. Our guide to Shopify store revenue shows how to read those estimates.

Can SellWinners replace BigSpy for X, Pinterest or app network ads?

No. SellWinners covers Meta, Google and TikTok ads only, with YouTube ads among the Google ones. It has no X, Pinterest, Yahoo, Unity, Pangle or AppLovin ads, and no TikTok Shop ads. If you buy on those networks, BigSpy lists them: AppLovin from Starter, X, Pangle and TikTok Shop ads from Growth, and Pinterest, Yahoo and Unity on Ultimate (pricing page, checked on October 26, 2026).

Which BigSpy alternative should I pick?

Start from the networks you buy on. For X, Pinterest, Yahoo or app networks, AdLibrary.com lists them on every plan and BigSpy on its higher plans (pricing pages, checked on October 26, 2026). For TikTok first, with TikTok Shop data, look at PiPiAds. For Meta, Google and TikTok ads with the Shopify store behind each ad and a REST API, SellWinners fits. Our list of the best ad spy tools compares eight of them.
